Belief Statement

About the Triune God

I believe in one eternal God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Hebrews 1:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6). He is recognized as the sovereign Ruler and Creator of all things (Revelation 4:11, Colossians 1:16-17, Psalm 24:1).

About Mankind & Sin
I believe that entire human race, though made in God’s image, has inherited a sinful nature that separates us from God (Genesis 1:27, 3, Romans 3:9-20). Without Christ, we were spiritually dead due to sins and needed redemption (Ephesians 2:1-3).

About Jesus
I believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and fully God and fully man (Luke 1:26-38). He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for humanity’s sins, rose again, and ascended to heaven. Believers gain new life and identity through Him (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4) as He is the sole Savior who reconciles us to God (Matthew 1:21b, 1 Corinthians 15).

About the Bible

I believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17, I Corinthians 2:13). It is true and relevant to our lives (Psalm 119:4, John 17:17, Hebrews 4:2,12). It is the revelation of God’s will for the salvation of mankind through Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15).

About Salvation and Works
I believe that salvation, forgiveness of sins, and reconciliation with God come by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:10, Romans 3:21-26).

About the Holy Spirit

I believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict, regenerate, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower believers. The Holy Spirit indwells in believers at the moment of salvation, providing support for their life and service (Romans 8:11; John 16:8-13; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14; Titus 3:5; 1 John 2:20-27).

About the Future
I believe that Jesus will return (Acts 1:11). Our eternal destiny—either with God or apart from Him—depends on accepting the gift of grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Daniel 12:1-2, John 3:36, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 20:7-15).
